Responsibilities:

• As a Backend Engineer focused on API development using NodeJS, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APls using serverless technologies like AWS Lambda.
• You'll collaborate with relational databases and integrate with third-party systems to enhance and expand our platform's capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale systems and a variety of NodeJS APls will be highly valued.
• Your work will directly shape a reliable and innovative backend infrastructure that supports our bold growth plans.
• Architect and develop cutting-edge APIs.
• Take ownership of applications and backend services.
• Contribute to building high-quality software within your team.
• Ensure code quality and functionality through comprehensive testing.
• Play a key role in technical decision-making for our products.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in API development using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to build high-quality software with a strong focus on testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with various testing approaches (Unit, Integration) using Jest.
• Exposure to AWS services.
• We operate in a global environment. Therefore, you need to speak English fluently - additional language skills are of course an advantage.
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
• Two times per week at the office in Lisbon
