Our Mobile business unit offers solutions for the Telecommunications market, such as SIM Cards, eSIMs, Subscription Management, iSE, to secure connectivity and guarantee interoperability, connecting people, companies, and objects efficiently and with secure processes.

We're actively seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Integration & Support Engineer) for the development and testing of advanced eSIM solutions (Consumer Devices and IoT architectures) to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Research & Development team.

¿What would be your mission within this role? As a Software Engineer, you will support development and testing of advanced eSIM solutions (Consumer Devices and IoT architectures). This role bridges system-level development, user-facing application design, and end-to-end testing to deliver high-performance, reliable, and user-centric solutions.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and automate tests for the eSIM ecosystem;
• Conduct rigorous testing and debugging;
• Develop and optimize drivers and libraries;
• Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications;
• Contribute to system design;
• Research and implement new Technologies;
• Document technical processes and workflows;
• Customize and extend the Android Open Source Project (AOSP)

Required knowledge:

• Proficiency in Python development.
• Testing and Debugging: Strong knowledge of testing tools and methodologies for Android platforms.
• Mobile Application Development: Proficiency in Android apps using Java and Kotlin is highly valued.
• System Optimization: Skills in performance tuning, memory management, and power efficiency.
• Multilingual Communication: Fluency in English and Spanish are a must; Chinese language skills are highly valued.
• AOSP Customization: Expertise in modifying the Android Framework, HAL, and native layers is highly valued.

If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a must.
• 3+ years of previous and proven experience as a Integration Engineer or similar role. We will also consider less experienced candidates for junior positions.
• Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)
• Proficiency in Spanish and Good written, reading and fluent spoken english to communicate with our global team. A good level of Chinese is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and Analytical skills
• Autonomous problem-solving.
