Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Recordings and executions of installations in HUB, PoP and data center locations
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams
• Installation and assembly of various network hardware
• Laying of fiber optic and copper patch cables
• Execution of migrations (preparation and realization)
• Documentation of the installed hardware / patch cables
• Troubleshooting and fault resolution in optical networks
• Qualification of optical connections based on measured values

Qualifications

Basic training EFZ in a technical profession

Required Skills

• Willingness to learn new things and interest in ICT technologies
• Networked thinking, recognition of technical and logical connections
• Open-minded and communicative personality
• Independent and reliable working style
• Good knowledge of German, knowledge of English and French is an advantage
• Driving license category B
