Software Engineer

We are recruiting for a set of Software Engineer roles for a freelance project in Gothenburg working for a Swedish Innovation Client based in Gothenburg,

Duration: 12 months + Extensions

Station location: Gothenburg Onsite

Pay Rate: Negotiable

English Speaking Accepted (Swedish a plus)

Scope: 100%

Daily Responsibilities:

Role 1:

• You will be responsible to design, implement and maintain backend services containing the business
• logic and domain model for the Study Lifecycle Portal. As a senior engineer you take responsibility for the quality in the delivery and contribute to an overall strong engineering culture.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in backend technologies, architecture, and best practices
• Strong emphasis on high-quality clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Experienced in testing at all levels (unit, component, end-to-end).
• Good understanding of authentication and identity providers (IdPs).
• Working with both document databases as well as relational ones.
• TypeScript

Technologies:

• Frontend: HTTP, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, Tailwind
• Backend: TypeScript, REST APIs, Node.js, Open API Specifications, JSON Schema, Mongo DB, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka

Role 2:

• You will be responsible to design, implement and maintain a scalable and intuitive front-end for the study management portal in close collaboration with UX designers, backend engineers, and users to create a seamless user experience.
• As an Engineer you take responsibility for the quality of the front-end delivery and contribute to an overall strong engineering culture.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in frontend technologies, architecture and best practices
• Strong emphasis on high-quality clean, maintainable and testable code
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with UX designers, back-end engineers and users.
• Proficient in working with design systems, both implementing and using them.
• Understand testing at all levels (unit, component, end-to-end).
• Good understanding of authentication and identity providers (IdPs).
