Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Singapore (Onsite)
Work Schedule: 24x7 Shift Rotation (12-hour shifts: 2 days on, 2 days off, including weekends)
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (SOW Project)
Start Date: May 2025 (1-month security clearance required by Singapore Authority)
About Us:
We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Network Engineers to join our team for a critical network migration project. This is a Statement of Work (SOW) project where engineers will independently execute tasks based on the defined scope. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and ensuring seamless network migration.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design & Implementation:
- Design, implement, and manage large-scale network infrastructures with a focus on multicast, routing, and switching.
- Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst platforms, especially CAT9K and CAT 4500 series.
- Utilize Stackwise Virtual setups for network resiliency and high availability.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve Layer 3, Layer 2, and multicast-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis to minimize downtime and enhance network performance.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Document network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies.
- Proactively suggest improvements for network efficiency and security.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in network engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in large-scale network deployments and complex network environments.
Technical Skills:
Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Routing and Switching (Mandatory).
Routing & Switching Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, including Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- Expertise in Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol.
Multicast Technologies:
- Extensive experience with multicast technologies, especially Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP).
Platform Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst platforms (CAT9K and CAT 4500 series).
- Proficient in configuring and managing Stackwise Virtual setups for high availability.
Troubleshooting:
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 3, Layer 2, and multicast-related issues.
- Ability to resolve complex networking problems independently.
