Network Administrator

One of our clients is looking for a Junior Level Network Administrator to join their team. Looking for someone that has great communication skills that can hit the ground running. You must be local to the Kansas City area.

Title: Network Administrator

Location: Pleasant Valley, MO (Onsite 5 days a week)

Duration: 6 Month C2H

Pay Rate: $26

Conversion Salary: $60,000

Must-haves:

• 3 years of experience in Network Administration
• Experience configuring, managing and maintaining Fortinet firewalls
• Experience setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs
• Experience setting up, managing and maintaining switches and wireless access points
• Experience performing firmware updates and patches on network devices
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, latency and bottlenecks
• Active directory and identity management experience
• Experience managing network security measures

Plusses:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
• Cloud based networking experience

Day-to-day:

• Insight Global is seeking a network administrator to work onsite in the Pleasant Valley, MO. This person will be joining the IT team and will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's network infrastructure. This candidate will oversee firewall and security management, network infrastructure deployment and maintenance, network performance optimization, VPN and remote access management and active directory and identity management. They will also be responsible for network documentation and compliance, collaborating with the IT, infrastructure, and security teams and the continuous improvement of networking technologies, trainings, and documentation. This position will be reporting to the Director of IT. The ideal candidate will have relevant network certifications. This position is looking to start ASAP.
