Purpose Of The Job

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for Android to lead the end-to-end delivery of innovative technology products. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, drive Agile best practices, and challenge stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions that align with business objectives and user needs. The TPM will develop product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and deeply understand business objectives and user needs. Success in this role requires a deep product domain knowledge combined with expertise in Android development to ensure the delivery of scalable, high-performing applications.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Define and execute product roadmaps, collaborating with engineering teams

Manage product development, incidents, enhancements, and testing

Ensure compliance with the client's data protection and IT governance standards

Ensure high-quality software delivery aligned with Android best practices, architecture, and UI/UX principles

Oversee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Android applications

Guide teams in modern Android development, leveraging Kotlin, Java, Jetpack, and Android APIs

Strong experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development, ensuring smooth and scalable application interfaces

Requirement Gathering & Prioritization

Translate customer and market needs into technical product requirements

Define API contracts, system dependencies, and technical roadmaps

Prioritize features based on business impact and user needs

Partner with engineers, designers, and QA teams to drive high-quality releases

Track KPIs and iterate based on user engagement metrics

Continuously refine the product roadmap and invest in technical skill development

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

5+ years of technical product management experience or relevant experience

Proven expertise in end-to-end product lifecycle management

Strong Agile, Scrum, or Kanban leadership experience

Analytical Skills With Experience Using Product Analytics Tools

Strong programming skills in Kotlin and Java with deep knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and best practices.

Experience in Android system architecture and design, including scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and system design)

Experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performance UI components

Experience with Android UI/UX guidelines, responsive design principles, and accessibility standards

Hands-on experience with unit testing, automated UI testing, and debugging tools

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile DevOps, and cloud-based backend integration

Would Be a Plus

Taking part in rare business trips to Europe

Experience with Google Play Store submission, release management, and app analytics

Prior experience working in large-scale, consumer-facing applications

Demonstrated leadership in driving operational excellence and best practices

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
