Top Federal Organisation, which is an independent statutory agency to support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a substantial and permanent disability and their children and carer(s). Looking for a long term contractor to join to manage RESTful APIs, enhance application performance, and maintain code quality through best practices and testing.




Your new role

• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
  
• Develop and maintain real-time performance dashboards.
  
• Identify and resolve technical issues.
  
• Optimize application performance.
  
• Support CI/CD processes.
  
• Ensure optimal operation of complex systems through DevOps initiatives.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a role focused on developing full stack applications using Node.js, with proficiency in frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
  
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and scripts aimed at automating and streamlining development tasks, thereby enhancing productivity and efficiency.
  
• Implement and manage APIs to support various functionalities within applications, ensuring seamless integration with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Microsoft Teams.
  
• Create and sustain real-time dashboards to monitor application performance and user metrics, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
  
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  
• Hands-on experience with GitLab for creating, maintaining, and monitoring build and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient CI/CD processes.
  
• Advocate for accessibility by embracing innovative approaches to accessible design and development, demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to creating inclusive user experiences.
