About The Role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Digital Product Designer, you'll craft digital experiences that help our members achieve their financial goals – from public-facing websites and member portals to mobile apps and digital advice platforms. Working alongside product owners, you'll lead the creative direction of our digital products, creating intuitive design components that align with our broader strategy.

You'll drive innovative design solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams who share your passion for user-centered design. Whether you're working on government initiatives or public offer spaces, you'll be building solutions that actually help people secure their financial future.

This role is a 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity based in Brisbane.

About You

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

• You've mastered the art of digital design through years of hands-on experience. You understand the nuances of responsive design like the back of your hand, and you're committed to creating experiences that everyone can use and enjoy.
• Your toolkit includes the Adobe Creative Suite - XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You're comfortable diving into HTML and CSS, and you know exactly how to bring your designs to life.
• When it comes to mobile, you speak both Apple and Android fluently. You've built and maintained design systems that keep projects consistent and scalable. It's not just about making things look good - it's about creating solutions that work.
• You thrive under pressure and know how to navigate team dynamics. You can explain complex design decisions to developers in a way that makes sense, and you're not afraid to stand up for what you believe makes great design.
• Your attention to detail is impressive, but it's your communication skills that really set you apart. You write clearly, present confidently, and bring fresh energy to every project you touch.
• A degree in design, multimedia, or communications would be great, but what really matters is your portfolio and your passion for creating exceptional digital experiences.
