The primary purpose of this role is to support the broader People & Culture team to be more efficient and effective through the provision of operational and administrative support to the business.


  • Action end to end employee lifecycle processing including drafting documents, data entry and filing - ensure all process steps are accurately completed in line with documented procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor the P&C Operations worklist and action new requests or direct employees to self-service information
  • Respond to employment verification requests and questions about employee lifecycle processes
  • Administer compliance activities such as background checks and approvals
  • Schedule and book workshops and inductions for new starters.
  • Peer review accuracy of data entry, employee contracts, documents and people records.
  • Ad hoc coordination and administrative support to People and Culture specialists, including WHS manager as required such as coordinating Mindful May, other wellbeing activities, first aid officers/mental health first officers register, cyclical priorities and projects.
  • Maintain accurate Knowledge Management articles in line with Tier 0 self-service model.
  • Update and maintain accurate role-based statements of process, procedural documents and checklists to ensure accurate processing.
  • Contribute as a people admin subject matter expertise for organisational initiatives.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support with implementation.
  • Respond to basic reporting requests as directed by the P&C Data Product & Reporting Owner.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related discipline desirable

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in human resources and/or administrative experience
  • Experience with HR systems or case management systems (iChris and/or ServiceNow advantageous)
  • Strong organisational and administrative ability, coupled with the ability to effectively prioritise
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of the company; employees and management
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office ability
  • Proven ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and work to strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience completing processes with multiple steps
