We are on the hunt for a Chief Technology Officer for a company in Vienna to spearhead innovation and ensure their tech stack is future-proof, scalable, and rock solid. We are looking for a curious mind and a great sense of humour.

• Ensure platform reliability & security – Keep their systems robust, secure, and high-quality.
• Champion automation – Minimize manual work, maximise efficiency.
• Optimize resources – Align teams, roadmaps, and strategies for peak performance.
• Drive business growth – Make tech work for their goals and deliver measurable impact.
• Execute with urgency – Translate business priorities into tech solutions, keeping them ahead of the curve.

About you

• 10+ years of experience in tech leadership, preferably in energy, finance, or trading.
• A proven track record in leading expert teams and driving high-performance cultures.
• Experience with 24/7 low-latency architectures - would be a plus!
• The ability to challenge the status quo and push tech to new heights.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between tech and business.
• Fluent in German & English.
• A curious mind and a great sense of humour.
