Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Must Have Qualifications:

• Between 5-10 years of professional experience with the following:
• Tech stack; Java/Spring, Linux, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, PostgreSQL
• Present and appropriately articulate technical solutions to high level customers, high-level internal stakeholders and internal technical teams.
• People Leadership
• Infrastructure build automation
• On prem AND Cloud (AWS preferred) Architecture
• Designing high volume OLTP systems in different deployment models
• Gaming or financial payments processing platforms/PCI
• Network architecture for data centers
• Security

Soft Skills:

• Fluency in English is required
• Open and customer-oriented mindset, communication skills
• Teamwork, readiness and reliability
• Willingness to travel to office occasionally if required

Plusses:

• Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
• Lottery and Gaming, casino, banks, Ticketmaster etc. any mission critical company that require high volume transactions used by the public

Day to Day:

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Solutions Architect to join a leading global company in Lottery and Gaming Technology. This individual will be joining the team in Vienna, Austria but can sit remotely in Austria or neighboring countries, as well as the UK. This is a small team responsible for the vision and thought leadership for the architecture and technical solutions of lottery technology for their customers. This Solutions Architect will be responsible for the design of high volume OLTP systems in a variety of deployment models from on-prem to hybrid and cloud environments, as well as infrastructure build automation, deployment for data centers, and working with security team to ensure information is secure. They will be consulting international customers full cycle from the early engagement, to helping design, present, pre-sale, architecting, all the way to working together with the internal technology teams to help execute to the implementation stage.
