Your role and responsibilities

Are you passionate about HR? Do you see your future role in HR? We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Specialist to grow with our HR team at ABB System Drives division in Helsinki, Pitäjänmäki.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support managers, employees, and other stakeholders by resolving their questions, concerns, and transactions. Moreover, you will guide our internal customers on various HR topics, becoming a crucial resource for their needs. You will be a key person to support HR related needs including talent attraction, training coordination, addressing payroll and benefits inquiries, and managing and resolving issues. Your support will be essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and a positive experience for everyone involved.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• "Walk-in/call-in" support for HR tools and renewed processes, incidents and questions about payroll, benefits, and other HR needs
• Answering questions and addressing/resolving issues for managers and employees
• Assisting Business HR with HR reporting and data maintenance
• Supporting HR Business Partners with annual cycles and special projects
• Providing issue tracking and resolution communication
• Supporting talent attraction and employment life cycle management
• Supporting HR communication and HR initiatives and project execution
• Supporting people event planning and execution
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• One to two years’ related experience in Human Resources Management or, for instance, Business Administration is essential
• You enjoy being part of a team and have customer service mindset
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude is relevant
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
• Ability to demonstrate your understanding of or genuine interest in human resource principles, policies, practices, and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English is a must, experience in communication is plus
• Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of MS Office Tools, especially MS Excel, and interest in supporting HR tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration
