Business Analyst

The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas. Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-functional environment.

6 Month Contract

Daily Rate - €500 pd

Role

• Design and develop solutions (or assist with the design) that best support the

business requirements.

• Adhere to Bank IT Project Methodology & Standards.
• Research new technologies and initiatives.
• Work within a Sprint delivering to the agreed cadence.
• Collaborate across group technology to understand the wider solution to be

delivered.

• Develop junior and new team members by mentoring them on multiple fronts.

Risk Management

• Identify and control risks in advance and make suggestions to team about how to

mitigate against risks.

• Maintain awareness of all compliance, regulatory & legal directives and support
• development of approaches to minimise risk and potential damage to our reputation.
• Support the management of risk by ensuring that product services and processes

operate as intended.

Requirements:

Essential

• Analysis experience of end user systems and applications
• Banking Systems, development environments and customer delivery systems.
• Understanding of the Software Development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience of managing & tracking requirements
• Knowledge of IT development processes, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to create functional Spec’s, and create & enhance user stories
• Competent in capturing requirements including Acceptance Criteria in Epics / User

Stories.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Ability to work using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Capability to work on own initiative in a demanding environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, an ability to present and discuss

technical information in a way that gains understanding and establishes rapport.

• Proven track record of working in an Agile Environment.
