Operations Manager

KR Recruitment are delighted to be assisting this European banking group in their search for an Operations Manager to support their corporate business.

This is a growing conpany with cutting edge products and services, and the position is a newly created one to oversee the customer operations and delivery.

Reporting to “C” level you will have the opportunity to work and develop in an entrepreneurial environment with far more responsibility and opportunity than in other banking environments.

Duties:

• Manage a small operations team on a day to day basis
• Manage client account processing and relationships
• Ensure robust data management
• Maintain smooth operational workflows and regulatory compliance
• Improve efficiency through automation and process improvements
• Audit planning and business continuity testing
• Implement risk mitigation initiatives
• Work closely with other senior leadership stakeholders in the bank

You will need:

• 7 yrs + banking operations experience within a financial services environment
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
• A track record of successfully working alongside back office functions
• Knowledge of client onboarding, custody administration, payments and brokerage
• Knowledge of risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in process improvement would be of particular interest
• Fluent English with French a plus
