Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands - Must be open to working in an onsite-offshore environment
Key Requirements
- A minimum of 9 years in relevant areas of expertise.
- At least 4 years of experience in an architectural role.
- Proven track record in building and sustaining scalable web applications utilizing Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
- Expertise in crafting, deploying, and maintaining server-side applications with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong background in designing, implementing, and fine-tuning RESTful APIs and web services suitable for high-traffic systems.
- Proficient in database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for effective data storage solutions.
- Knowledgeable in OAuth, JWT authentication, and implementing security best practices.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and utilizing container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Engage in the development and maintenance of robust web applications with Node.js and relevant frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).
- Design, develop, and launch server-side applications leveraging Node.js and TypeScript.
- Create, implement, and improve RESTful APIs and web services for applications with high user traffic.
- Utilize database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to build and manage effective data storage solutions.
- Implement OAuth and JWT authentication along with security protocols.
- Work with a microservices architecture and utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with Docker for containerization is an advantage.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes well.
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities to solve complex problems and devise effective solutions.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills in a development setting.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and robustness during high-demand periods.
- Diagnose, debug, and enhance code for optimal performance.
- Develop reusable, testable code that guarantees application scalability and stability.
- Adhere to best practices in version control using Git and collaborate effectively in an agile team environment.
- Stay abreast of current industry trends and technologies to maintain cutting-edge applications.
