Frontend React Engineer – SaaS – Hybrid – Sustainability – €70K

Our client is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Developer who wants to contribute to a sustainable future. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies such as V2G, integrating them into user-friendly platforms that help accelerate the transition to a greener Netherlands.

Organization:

The Technology Team consists of two Scrum teams responsible for APIs and three frontend applications: a mobile app built with React Native and Expo, a business management platform, and an internal back office, both developed with React and Next.js. Each team includes a Product Owner and works closely with the Frontend Guild, where weekly meetings focus on quality improvements and the implementation of new technologies.

Role:

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will collaborate with backend developers and a Product Owner to develop new features and optimize applications. You will enhance user experiences by translating complex challenges into scalable solutions, write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior and medior developers. Additionally, you will make key software architecture decisions to ensure the long-term success of the applications.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience with React, TypeScript, and frameworks like Next.js and Expo. A passion for frontend development, a solid understanding of automated testing methods, and experience in building scalable applications are essential. You enjoy working in a Scrum team, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating effectively with others. Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English are required.
