System Engineer

Are you a passionate Systems Engineer with network expertise, driven by designing, building, and operating the infrastructure that supports professional digital systems?

You will primarily be working from our office in Stockholm, but we also have offices in Copenhagen and Oslo!

Your Role and Responsibilities

A typical day involves varied technical operational tasks combined with new development projects, including:

• Designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure and services (Servers, LAN, WAN, VPN, Cloud setups in Azure and AWS).
• Configuring and maintaining networks and servers while monitoring performance and integrity.
• Collaborating with IT colleagues across locations to design and build integrated system solutions.
• Helping design and implement IT security strategies, including next-generation firewall features and other security measures.

While your main focus will be on network solutions, we also expect you to be hands-on with system operations, including logging into Windows/Linux servers and assisting colleagues with daily tasks.

In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization, both locally and at the Nordic level, and see the positive impact of your work in practice.

Your Skills and Experience

We believe you will thrive in this role if you:

• Have several years of experience in a similar position.
• Preferably hold relevant certifications such as Cisco/CCNP, Fortinet, or Microsoft and are familiar with Azure/AWS network suites and Windows servers.
• Enjoy taking ownership of systems and solutions.
• Like working in a hybrid infrastructure setup.
• Value collaboration with skilled IT professionals across teams and borders.
• Can present technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Are fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.

You will work with modern and evolving infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, Cisco and Fortinet solutions, and extensive Azure integration. Tasks include monitoring, patch management, backup, SD-WAN, VPN, and more. Experience in planning, implementing, and troubleshooting servers will be an advantage.
