Mid/Senior Game Developer

Our main games from the BoomBit Group include Hunt Royale, Darts Club and Ramp Car Jumping. We're a game developer and a publisher, with over 320 creative people working together. We cover games of nearly every genre in the free-to-play (F2P) model on iOS and Android, and also on the Nintendo Switch.

We have experts spread across publishing, user interface/experience (UI/UX), game design, monetization, user acquisition (UA), creatives, business intelligence (BI), quality assurance (QA), LiveOps, programming, art and game development. We are continually looking to strengthen our team.

As a Mid/Senior Game Developer you will be a crucial part of our internal development process, contributing to the creation of high-quality and engaging mobile games. Your role involves coding, debugging, and optimizing game features to align with BoomBit’s vision. Working closely with our design, art, and production teams, you will help bring our creative concepts to life.

Location: Izmir/Turkey - on site

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize game mechanics, features, UI and systems using Unity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, designers, and other developers to create captivating mobile games.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute creative ideas to enhance gameplay and user engagement.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure smooth gameplay on a variety of mobile devices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in game development.
• Implementing A/B testing mechanics.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of game development experience with Unity
• Proficiency in C# programming language.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Previous experience with shipping mobile games and an understanding of mobile performance considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with profiling, performance, and size optimizations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Excellent English to communicate with the international team.
• Strong proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience in integrating third-party SDKs for various functionalities such as analytics, ads, and events tracking.
• Experience with well-optimized Respo 3 extensions
• Past work on midcore or casual projects
• Experience in live operations (Live Ops)
