Full Stack - API Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Full Stack/API Developer with over 2 years of experience in creating, enhancing, and maintaining web applications and API integrations that link our diverse applications and services. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in both front-end and back-end development, strong analytical skills, and a meticulous approach to detail. You will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to develop high-quality applications and APIs that are integral to our business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support our applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and APIs by conducting thorough testing and optimization.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Troubleshoot and debug application and API-related issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions.
• Document application and API designs, specifications, and usage guidelines to facilitate efficient development and integration.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in full stack and API development, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with API management tools and platforms (e.g., Postman, Swagger, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their API services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
