About The Role

This is your opportunity to join our team as Product Manager Gas Detection Solutions and help us to implement our growth strategy. In this role you will own the product life cycle and be responsible for the product strategy as well as the financial performance in accordance with Autronica’s overall business strategy. As the Product Manager Gas Detection Solutions, you will work closely with the other product managers as well as the R&D, Operations & Sales organization. The role provides a unique opportunity to shape our future market footprint and develop our future product solution offering. The position can be based in Autronica’s Head Quarter in Trondheim or in the Tønsberg office.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be The Following

  • Develop and implement product line strategy to ensure profitability and sustainable competitive positioning in the market.
  • Monitor industry/market trends to identify additional future market potential
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap to ensure successful and effective product line development
  • Manage & optimize the product life cycle
  • Participate in cross functional development/project teams
  • Define detailed product specifications, pricing and phase in/phase out plans to ensure sustainable profitability and market success.
  • Lead and coordinate company-wide market launch and train-the-trainer activities
  • Support sales events and actions when required.
  • Ensure compliance to applicable standards and regulations

Who We’re Looking For

As part of our team, you’ll have the following:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or engineering,
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in international B2B product management
  • Experience with product development and sales processes
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to make decisions and see them through to completion
  • Clear, structured and user-oriented communication style
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
  • Fluency in English. Norwegian is an advantage.
  • A pro-active can-do attitude, as well as an action and result oriented approach.

  • Knowledge and experience with products and/or segments related to gas detection systems
