Job Description: Cybersecurity Analyst

We are hiring a resourceful and forward-thinking Cybersecurity Analyst for our client. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day cybersecurity tasks, including endpoint protection, network security, incident triaging, alert fine-tuning, and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Manage change requests.
• Triage cybersecurity incidents daily.
• Track and report vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and record security issues.
• Perform health checks and testing of EDR, VM, SIEM, and other tools.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats.
• Proactively manage daily operations.
• Transfer knowledge as needed.
• Support ad-hoc projects.
• Escalate potential breaches to leadership.
• Assist with partner and staff queries.
• Develop operational/project documentation.
• Support other teams within the Risk Management Group.
• Perform other related duties.

Qualifications:

• Background in cybersecurity operations; insurance industry experience is a plus.
• 3+ years in enterprise IT, with 2+ years focused on cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of IR, DLP, EDR, and security/privacy concepts.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively.
• Experience with incident response plans and playbooks.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple projects.
