Frontend Developer

Position Overview

The Frontend developer, based out of our Singapore office, will be responsible for the implementation of frontend code for Tron’s decentralized applications and blockchain-based platforms. He/She will be part of the project team playing a crucial role in designing, developing and maintenance of our company’s first-of-its-kind DeFi product.

The ideal candidate will be one that excels in writing bulletproof Web3 frontend code to safeguard the company against potential threats. To achieve that, he/she will have to minimally possess advanced coding skills in Web2 programming languages such as JavaScript and React.

Lastly, the incumbent will also be one that is in touch with the latest news on the market in order to pivot our first-of-its-kind DeFi product timely to enable the company to remain relevant and competitive.

Responsibilities

• In touch with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in blockchain and cryptocurrency space, including innovative features and improvements relevant to our products & services.
• Implement frontend code for decentralized applications and developer tools for blockchain-based platforms assigned to your project team.
• Integrate blockchain protocols and smart contracts into frontend applications assigned seamlessly.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mock-ups into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing web applications with user’s accessibility and ease of use in mind.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize code to ensure high performance and scalability of DApps.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in frontend web development.
• Experienced working with popular coding libraries (e.g. Solana.js, Web3.js, ether.js), blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Solid experience working with popular frontend frameworks such as React and VueJS.
• Advanced understanding of blockchain concepts, including public/private keys, wallets, transactions, and smart contracts. One should be able to articulate beyond the search engine definitions of these concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Able to articulate thoughts, suggestions, roadblocks in a respectful and constructive manner.
• Proactive, independent individual who takes ownership to improve their skill set.
• A team player who believes in knowledge sharing of best practices with the team.
• Plus points if proficient in Chinese.
