Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist (Intern)

Opportunity

As an intern at SOTI you will be involved in integrating complex projects, and testing plans, within the Agile (Scrum) framework, to help validate and verify the quality of world-class EMM solutions. We’re looking for focused ambitious individuals who are currently studying a computer science or related technical field (within academia or home-based study) to take part in our dynamic Quality Assurance Internship within our Research & Development Hub in Galway, Ireland. If you’re passionate about the Technology industry and enjoy learning new technologies while aligning it to creating real business solutions we want to hear from you.

Being part of our growing R&D team involved in groundbreaking mobility focused research in the Mobile and IoT sectors, you will be provided with amazing opportunities to work on exciting projects that offer innovative mobile device solutions to our enterprise clients across the world.

What you will learn:

• Design, develop and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI's product offerings.
• Create, implement and maintain test coverage for Web and Mobile applications.
• Analyze and document bugs and customer issues.
• Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios, and test cases and track and report on testing activities.
• Conduct exploratory testing on SOTI's application during development.
• Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines.

Required skills:

• Knowledge of QA processes and methodology.
• Basic knowledge of API testing (any tool) and Database testing.
• Familiar with C#, OOPS Concepts.
• Basic knowledge of BDD framework and test script creation.
• Understanding of Web technologies, Mobility [Android, IOS & Windows].
• Most importantly curiosity, a desire to learn and be a part of a team.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.
