The IT Application Officer / Coordinator is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for business applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. This role focuses on resolving application-related issues, supporting the development and integration of systems using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Business Central, Web APIs, and Azure Synapse. The coordinator will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, enhancing application functionality, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:


Application Development & Support:

  • Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Develop and manage SharePoint Online sites, lists, and workflows to support business operations.
  • Provide technical support for applications, resolve user issues, and enhance functionality.
  • Perform system monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
  • Work closely with business users, analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices for application management.
  • Configure, customize, and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for finance, sales, and operations.
  • Develop and manage Web APIs for application integrations and data exchange.


Data Management & Integration:

  • Develop and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimizations for application performance.
  • Utilize Azure Synapse Analytics to manage and process large datasets efficiently.
  • Ensure seamless data integration between different business applications, including Business Central and Power Platform.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in developing, maintaining, and managing software applications, particularly in:
  • > Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • > SharePoint Online (lists, libraries, permissions, and workflows).
  • > Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • > Developing and consuming Web APIs.
  • > Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, reporting, and integration.
  • Experience in troubleshooting application issues and performance optimization.


This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance business applications and IT operations.
