The Senior Sales Manager-Beverages is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving the sales strategy and performance of our beverage division. This individual will lead the sales team to achieve ambitious targets, establish strong relationships with key clients, and develop market strategies that align with our business objectives. The right candidate will possess a deep understanding of the beverage industry and market trends, as well as the ability to analyze data to optimize sales efforts. The Senior Sales Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing market share, and fostering a high-performing sales culture. Their leadership will directly influence the overall growth of the company and its reputation in the market, making this role vital for our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the beverage segment.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Identify and target key customers and markets for growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer preferences.
  • Set and monitor performance goals and objectives for the sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance and strategies.

  • Manage contract negotiations and close significant sales deals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
  • Implement training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in beverages.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage markets and trends.
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and markets.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams or projects.
  • Professional certifications in sales management are a plus.
