Senior C++ Developer (Qt, AWS or Azure)

Our project, in collaboration with one of the foremost providers of energy industry solutions, aims to develop and maintain a cutting-edge cloud-based enterprise information system tailored to the Oil & Gas domain. Boasting stability and longevity, our project thrives on innovation, constantly integrating new technologies to remain at the forefront of the industry.

As part of our agile methodology, the role involves close coordination with our esteemed client team based in Houston. Joining our seasoned and supportive team, you'll immerse yourself in Landmarks Agile development practices, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of features and bug fixes prioritized by the Product Owner.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team, adhering to Landmarks Agile practices.
• Design, estimate, and implement features and bug fixes according to Product Owner priorities.
• Uphold coding quality standards, including thorough unit testing, documentation, and rigorous pre-QA testing.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to your role.
• Communicate and escalate issues promptly and clearly.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of software development experience, with a strong grasp of design principles and best practices.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platform development (AWS or Azure), including deployment, automation, and support.
• Proficiency in C/C++ development on Linux/Windows platforms.
• Expertise in UI development using Qt.
• Thorough understanding of multithreading programming.
• Familiarity with build pipeline tools like Jenkins and Gitlab Runner.
• Cloud networking expertise (DevOps), including firewalls and load balancers.
• Experience in unit testing and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Go, with exposure to Ansible and Terragrunt.
• Proficiency in Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in an agile environment, coupled with strong teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Javascript, Matrix Math, and SQL.
• Mathematical aptitude for algorithm development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with secure development practices and static code analysis.
• Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

Language Requirement: English proficiency at B2 Upper Intermediate level.
