Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).

Role & Responsibilities -

2-5 Years of Experience in designing and developing native Android mobile applications on Kotlin and Core Java

Solid understanding of mobile app deployment processes on Google Play Store, and familiarity with Google Play Console and Firebase console.

Solid understanding of integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries in Android applications.

Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code

Excellent in version control tools like GIT

Analysing requirements and Converting requirements into high-level specs and implementing the same.

Giving business solutions to the problem of customer raise.

Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in fluid environment

Familiarity with testing frameworks and techniques such as JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, UI Automation

Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams

Skills

Strong knowledge of some of the core Android architectural components like Activity, Fragments, Services, Broadcast receivers etc

"Has object-oriented design and development experience; knowledge of data structures,

algorithm design, problem solving, multi-threading, and complexity analysis."

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to handle different form factors across devices

Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack components such as Room, LiveData, ViewModel, and WorkManager.

Solid understanding of Reactive programming Coroutine Flow, LiveData

Good understanding of software architecture patterns and principles such as SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVI, or MVP

Hands on experience in Github Actions/Jenklins & CI/CD

Solid understanding of Dependency injection principles using any of the libraries like Dagger2, Hilt, Koin etc

Strong Knowledge of debugging and profiling tools to diagnose and fix issues in the code and improve metrics like Crashes, Non-fatal crashes, Memory Leaks, App
