Position Summary:

Senior Manager PMO:

We seek a Project Management Lead for the opening and ongoing operations of new McDonald’s Global office in Hyderabad.

This role will provide strategic alignment, execution excellence and work stream management as we transition work into our global India hub. Your role as Project Management (PMO) lead will develop and uphold program management governance standards and processes. This role aims to ensure the alignment of enterprise goals and priorities, solving and advocating for India specific nuances and challenges (e.g., capacity / resourcing). The India PMO lead will drive transformation in connection with other projects and run-the-business activities as we establish operations in Hyderabad.


Who we’re looking for:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Alignment: Coordinate transformation to ensure alignment and delivery across functional workstreams such as HR, Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, Transition Management among others to ensure global office is operating in an efficient and effective manner
  • Drive work stream execution: Successfully management end to end details of projects such as benefit vendor set-up (eg transportation, cafeteria, talent acquisition, etc). Actively monitor cross-workstream and program-wide dependencies
  • Capacity Planning and Execution Management: Understand resource and skill needs of staff to support organization activation and transition efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management and Escalation: Act as key liaison with various stakeholders both in our US global headquarters as well as our India office leadership team. Escalate key issues and risks as needed.
  • Leadership Reporting: Ensure leadership are kept appraised of project plans, key milestones, decisions, risks among other project management principles to create transparency of progress to plan


Qualifications

Educations & Certifications:

  • Project Mgmt. Professional
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, HR, Data & Analytics, or related field.


Skills and Experience:

  • You will have 6-10 years of experience in optimizing project management skills in a highly complex global organization
  • Professional Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal & external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Understand impact how change will impact.


Excellent Execution:

  • Monitors performance metrics and adjusts processes & priorities as needed.
  • Drives continuous improvement and best practices.
