Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

What You'll Do

• Strengthen Security Defenses – Evaluate and implement security solutions like Vulnerability Management, SIEM, SAST/DAST, and SBOM to keep our systems resilient.
• Detect & Respond to Threats – Monitor security events, investigate incidents using XDR and SASE solutions, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks
• Collaborate & Secure Systems – Work closely with teams across the company to design security into systems, harden corporate and production environments, and assess third-party vendors for security risks.
• Analyze & Improve Security Posture – Perform network and application log analysis, detect anomalies, and recommend enhancements to harden our security while staying ahead of emerging threats.
• Shape the future of security– Research new technologies, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, continuously evolving our security posture to outpace ever-changing cyber risks.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity role with hands-on experience managing Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Scripting experience in Linux shell, Windows shell, and Python scripting.
• Experience with AWS security, SASE, DLP, CASB, and analyzing network threats.
• Experience with SIEM, threat modeling, web application security, and risk assessments.
• Experience investigating cybersecurity incidents using EDR/XDR and managing security posture via IAM/UEM/MDM.
• Ability to handle high-severity incidents, think analytically, and solve complex problems
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive projects forward independently

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Fortigate Firewalls, Google Workspace, GitHub/GitLab.
• Cybersecurity certifications (example: CompTIA Security+, CASP, GIAC etc.)
• Experience in programming with C, C++, Java, Python, PHP, Go.
