Web Developer

The Company & Role:

We've partnered with a multinational tech company operating in the insurance space helping insurers worldwide to grow sustainably. They specialize in developing industry-leading digital solutions that enhance every aspect of the consumer journey, including underwriting, claims, lead generation, security, dynamic risk assessments, digital marketing, and tailored pricing. With offices based across Europe including Madrid, London, Paris, they're looking to add a to their tech hub in Rotterdam.

Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining thier proprietary component library, as well as collaborating with a team of developers to create efficient, reusable, and dependable interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance.
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
• Collaborate with back-enders to develop pixel perfect interfaces.
• Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, trends and technologies.

Codebase: VanillaJS/Ruby/Kubernetes & Terraform/Azure.

Must Have's:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Fluent English (Dutch bonus)
• EU Passport (No Visa sponsorships).

Nice To Have's:

• Knowledge of modern ES6 frameworks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Experience with Ruby or Python.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT.

• Salary up to €3,500 - €4,800 Gross.
