DevOps Engineer

For one of our clients in Pension world we are looking for an intergration DevOps Engineer on a project basis for an role.

Your Responsibilities

As part of the Orchestration and Integration (O&I) department, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing the integration landscape. Your work will contribute to the organization's strategic goals, ensuring seamless IT operations within a highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Support: Monitor and maintain a sophisticated integration landscape to ensure seamless performance.
• Incident Management: Address technical and functional incidents, including participation in an on-call support rotation.
• Life Cycle Management: Maintain and enhance the sustainability of the integration infrastructure.
• Automation: Improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven and Azure DevOps; automate monitoring processes via Hawk rules and ELK stack visualization.
• Deployment & Access Management: Contribute to user stories and features impacting operational tasks; manage authorization and access control to maintain security compliance.
• Cloud & Future Proofing: Stay updated on integration technologies, Azure cloud advancements, and emerging tools; contribute to transitioning the integration stack to a cloud-enabled architecture.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in integration DevOps roles.
• Familiarity with integration frameworks such as TIBCO (BusinessWorks 5/6/CE, EMS, Hawk), SQL Server SSIS, and modern technology stacks (Angular, Node.js, NoSQL solutions like MarkLogic).
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Preferably, experience in asset management.

Logistics:

Location: Amsterdam or Heerlen (with occasional travel for team meetings)

Work Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Standby Shift: Once every six weeks (in consultation
