The role

As a PHP (Symfony) Developer, you will become an integral part of the Cloud team, the backbone of the organization. This team is essential to daily operations, managing a vast number of transactions daily. Working in an Agile environment, you will have the chance to collaborate closely with 8 developers with plenty of space to put your creativity and ideas into practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Split responsibilities between software development and operational tasks
• Enhance processes for our client’s product through design and development
• Engage with a Cloud environment composed of various microservices
• Adjust components based on global deployment and compliance needs (e.g., GDPR)
• Use virtual machines with Linux within our client's infrastructure
• Manage a significant portion of the system in Kubernetes
• Plan to transition more services to the public cloud in the near future
• Make a substantial impact as an experienced developer with DevOps skills

Qualifications

• Experienced with Symfony
• Knowledgeable with Linux/ MariaDB/ RabbitMQ
• Proficient with Docker/ Kubernetes and Ansible
• Familiar with CICD tools
• Clean Code principles
• A mentor and a coach to younger developers
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands without VISA sponsorship
