An industry that is deeply broken in terms of what clinicians actually spend their time on. It is simply not sustainable that clinicians should spend >40% of their time on admin, and that 9 out of 10 doctors state they are unable to finish their administrative tasks during working hours.

Our solution is a clinician copilot, enabling clinicians to focus on care instead of on administrative tasks. We are building this copilot module by module, starting with the most time consuming admin task of writing medical notes. The core of our product is therefore an ambient scribe - which transcribes the patient doctor interaction, and based on it generates a medical note.

Since founding the company in August 2023, we’ve seen rapid growth and are live with hundreds of care providers using the product every day, backed by tier-1 European VCs.

Tandem now generates 1000s of medical notes every day, saving clinicians valuable time while also improving their work environment and the quality of care.

Our tech stack:

Our core stack is Python, with Typescript and a React front end with k8s infrastructure.

Due to the work we do in healthcare, we also support Microsoft infrastructure with C# for Windows app development and Azure hosting us on the cloud.

We use a combination of GPTs and Whisper for our LLMs.

What is our process?

We aim to have a decision made within 2 weeks from start to finish, with the process structured as follows:

• Technical call with Oliver, our Co-Founder and CTO.
• Python Pair programming interview with the team.
