Mobile Solution Architect

EPAM, named a #1 tech company in the US by Forbes, is looking to build and strengthen our Mobile practice Globally by identifying talented Mobile Solution Architects to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will possess skills that make them a subject matter expert in Digital products, with background in Mobile apps, and coupled with the ability to work closely with delivery, manage client relationships, and act as a leader within the practice.

Responsibilities

Develop proposals for implementation and design of Digital and Mobile architectures with domain knowledge in Android, iOS and Mobile Development Platforms
End-to-end architecture design including frontend, web services, middle tier, and backend
Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement mobile solutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, and costing
Provide technical leadership, project guidance, and business development in various digital and mobile technology areas
Advise business and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s digital business requirements into digital technology solutions
Participate in customer’s workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution
Perform analysis best practices and emerging concepts in digital/mobile application, mobile devices, Operating systems, and backend-as-a-service
Acts as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams and support
Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for digital and mobile solutions and delivery
Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture
Serve as a digital and mobile evangelist providing thought leadership, participating in conferences, authoring white papers, etc
Mentor colleagues who are moving toward Solution Architecture title
Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions
Create technical documentation

Requirements

Strong knowledge of digital technologies with development experience
Background and production experience in at least one of the following mobile technologies: iOS Native (Objective-C or Swift), Android Native (Android Java or Kotlin), React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript), Flutter (Dart), Xamarin.Forms/Xamarin.iOS/Xamarin.Android (.NET, C#)
2+ years in position of Solution Architect
Prior consulting, advisory, or professional services experience preferred
5+ architecture designs and review activities for the last two years
5+ pre-sale activities with exposure to customer for the last two years
Demonstrated project management experience in Agile (Scrum), which includes project planning, execution, risk management, and resource management
Strong knowledge and expertise in mobile solution delivery and strategy
Deep Knowledge and experience in two or more of the following: eCommerce, Content Management, Media & Entertainment, Financial, or Cloud
Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts
Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
Active community member and contributor to open source projects is a plus
Solid technical expertise & troubleshooting skills
Possess expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
Fluent oral and written English
