What We're Looking For?

We are seeking a highly experienced engineer to join our global Developer Experience team. This team acts as a bridge between all Tide product-focused engineering teams and our platform engineering team, requiring a broad skill set along with a strong desire to learn and grow.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CDto fully automate processes. You should be proficient in creating pipelines for deploying containerized applications in Go, Java, and Python into Kubernetes, ideally using tools like HELM, ArgoCD, and CrossPlane.

A solid understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies, Agile methodologies, and hands-on coding is essential. You should also be capable of mentoring other engineers and assisting in the architecture and implementation of cloud-based solutions.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, You Will:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions
• Lead and mentor other engineers
• Champion best practices in software development and Agile methodologies
• Stay updated on the latest cloud computing technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and cloud-based issues
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions meet business needs
  
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• 5+ years of experience in distributed computing
• Good working knowledge of web-based applications
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript
• Experience with various cloud computing platforms and technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and EKS
• Experience deploying containerized applications in TypeScript, Java, or Python
• Familiarity with developer portals such as Backstage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Pair Programming
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation
