Senior Frontend Developer

Our client is a fast-growing company that develops software powered by proprietary AI models to automate and simplify international trade processes. As part of their global expansion, they are establishing a presence in Dubai, UAE, to complement their headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

They are seeking a motivated Frontend Engineer who thrives in an iterative and fast-paced environment. Focused on delivering exceptional solutions for their clients, you will play a pivotal role in their newly formed UAE team, leading the frontend development of two key products used by traders and logistics businesses worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, modify, deploy, and test B2C and B2B products and features using React, TypeScript, and related frontend technologies.
• Produce high-quality, production-ready code with robust test coverage using modern frameworks and abstractions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define features and product specifications.
• Work independently to overcome challenges, complete tasks on schedule, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and judgment skills.
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Establish direction and goals for frontend implementation and developer efficiency.
• Advocate for higher product quality and improved engineering processes across the organization.
• Stay updated on industry technology trends to assess and integrate new technologies into the product roadmap.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in developing frontend solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in SaaS product development, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Proven ability to build complex applications and systems from the ground up, even with limited development infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience deploying and hosting products on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements and competing deadlines.
• A strong commitment to delivering excellent user experiences and solving customer needs.
• A relentless drive, solid work ethic, and passion for scaling a growing organization.
• Experience in international trade or third-party logistics (3PL) is a plus.
