Frontend Developer

Frontend Developer (3-Month Contract) – London (Hybrid)

£450-£500 per day Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join a travel company on a 3-month contract, starting ASAP. If you are someone who can quickly pick up tasks, take initiative, and contribute to an exceptional user experience, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

• Collaborate with our Frontend Lead and Head of Product to deliver high-quality UI solutions.
• Work on both framework-based and framework-free JavaScript and CSS implementations.
• Create and manipulate SVG assets and write semantic HTML with accessibility in mind.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain clean, efficient code.
• Integrate APIs and SDKs from third-party services.
• Work with Chakra UI and CSS-in-JS for component styling.
• Manage frontend build tools, deployment processes, and environment configurations.

About You

✅ Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, and CSS (both framework-based and vanilla)

✅ Ability to communicate effectively with designers, developers, and stakeholders

✅ Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines

✅ Comfortable working with API integrations and backend logic

✅ Familiarity with browser quirks and debugging across multiple environments

✅ Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment

✅ Available to work on-site in London a few days per week
