Our Focus-Track Graduate Programme is an 18-month journey designed to unleash your full potential, offering three rotations, including an international assignment. This unique opportunity will immerse you in Julius Baer’s global network, provide hands-on experience, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.

Your team

Join the COO division and become part of the KYC Competence Centre. During your journey, you will gain experience and insight of our risk management systems and contribute to improving the design and operational effectiveness of KYC frameworks. Working with experienced team members, you will have the opportunity to develop solution to emerging risks, which are highly sought after in the compliance and financial risk management industry. You will also develop a holistic understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and data governance—offering attractive long-term career prospects in both the compliance and data analytics fields.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Drive efficiencies: Automate manual processes and optimize resources in KYC reviews and client onboarding to reduce operational costs and minimize human error
• Enhance risk detection and management: Utilize data analytics to detect risk patterns, predict potential compliance issues, and improve due diligence measures
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree and above from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in Business, Banking & Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Data Science or related field (graduation max. 12 months ago)
• Initial practical experience in finance/banking industry and proficient in data analysis and manipulation tools (such as Python/VBA) or data visualization tools (such as Tableau)
• Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
• A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Forward-looking mindset with a passion for leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance efficiency and support effective risk management
• Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus
• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
