Junior Project Manager

Position: Junior/Associate Project Manager

Location: Hybrid 3x per week in Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 12 month contract + high likelihood for extension/FTE conversion

Payrate: $40-53/hr

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience operating in a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Associate, etc
• Experience working within an enterprise environment and any exposure to a PMO within an organization
• Experience with Microsoft Planner and experience creating planner boards as well as Jira
• Confidence to navigate in the gray, be adaptable to change, and action oriented around a variety of tasks
• Expertise managing a to-do list and prioritizing deliverables
• Experience in presentation building and update SharePoint sites
• Excellent relationship skills and communication at all levels within an organization

Day to day

An employer is looking for an Associate Project Manager to join one of our top utility clients in the Nation. This role will fall within the Technology division of the organization and will be supporting multiple leaders within the PMO to ensure that all deliverables and actions to move the needle on large technology programs are moving forward. We are looking for someone who is a go getter, action oriented, problem solver who is confident in their ability to prioritize tasks and make moves on the tasks at hand. In this role, you will need to be independent in nature and willing to take ambiguous direction all while asking questions along the way to ensure action is made. You will create and manage Planner Boards, work within Jira, and manage a master to-do list. This is an incredible opportunity to come in and add immediate value to the program support team as well as a great opportunity to grow and enhance your skills. This role will require someone to be onsite 3-4x a week in both Roseville and Downtown Minneapolis.
