Quality Manager

Our client in the energy sector is looking to hire a Quality Manager for their company. The ideal candidate would report to the GM Quality and Accreditation. The Quality Manager ensures consistent quality of products and services by developing and enforcing automated systems, validating processes, providing necessary documentation, and managing staff. This role oversees the Unified Services Platform and the implementation and maintenance of quality standards derived from Unified HSE Standards. Additionally, the Quality Manager represents and manages various committees and working groups related to products and services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget preparation for the quality assurance department and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee the performance of external and internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage the organization's process of issuing certificates, licensing, and competency cards.
• Define and execute the Quality Assurance strategy, approach, and execution in development projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
• Validate and document quality assurance processes.
• Maintain thorough documentation to support quality assurance activities and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the quality assurance for the Unified Services Platform (Quality function projects)
• Implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and practices.
• Strive to save energy, water, power and act responsibly to reduce environmental impact and environmental pollution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Engineering Degree in engineering discipline or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 years of Total experience.
• Minimum of Eight (8) years of auditing experience, 3 years in management Role (leading teams) in Quality & Accreditation.
• Minimum of four (4) years Working on one or more safety environment e.g. Road Safety, HSE, Lifting, camps, clinics etc...
• HSE awareness is desirable.
• Level 3 Assessor qualification.
• ISO: 9001:2015, ISO: 45001, ISO: 14001, ISO 35001, ISO 17020
• Technical certifications in Quality & Accreditation (L3 Assessor in Auditing, L4 Internal Auditor Assurance)
• Good Communication Skills – fluency in Arabic and English speaking, writing and Reading.
