Responsibilities:
- Independently drive data analysis projects using Python and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Analyze large datasets efficiently to extract relevant information.
- Identify data anomalies, errors, and inconsistencies, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
- Bachelor's degree in a field such as Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science/ Bachelor of Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
- Proven experience in Python programming to perform data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong SQL skills, including proficiency in writing complex queries, joining tables.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and data integration techniques.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, from data exploration to presenting results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data queries.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Exposure to the asset management industry or financial services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities to improve processes and provide data-driven insights.
- Work from Office as this position is for ODC project
