SQL + Python Developer- Associate Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

SQL + Python Developer (2-4 years of experience)

Responsibilities:

Independently drive data analysis projects using Python and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making.
Collaborate with other teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
Analyze large datasets efficiently to extract relevant information.
Identify data anomalies, errors, and inconsistencies, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a field such as Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science/ Bachelor of Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
Proven experience in Python programming to perform data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
Strong SQL skills, including proficiency in writing complex queries, joining tables.
Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and data integration techniques.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, from data exploration to presenting results.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data queries.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
Exposure to the asset management industry or financial services is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities to improve processes and provide data-driven insights.
Work from Office as this position is for ODC project
