Junior/medior Software Developer

Be Informed is looking for a full-time Java software developer with at least one year of Java experience to join the Product Development team based in Apeldoorn (NL). This professional software development team delivers high-quality, innovative software based on Java, Eclipse and React for leading organizations worldwide.

Your role

We are looking for a software developer to join our development team in Apeldoorn (NL) to work in a multidisciplinary scrum team enhancing the Be Informed platform’s capabilities. You will be expected to help analyze upcoming platform features and implement functionality for customers and partners.

As software engineer, we expect you to be proactive to not just implement code in Java/Javascript, but also check if the code is the right solution for the functional problem and discuss this with our functional analysts. With the team, you are responsible for maintaining the platform's quality by working design and test driven, supported by an extensive test set and DevOps functionality on our components and examples in CICD pipelines.

Your profile

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree
• Proven experience (at least one year) with Java
• Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus
• Ability to communicate in Dutch and English
