About the Role:

As our Senior Android Developer, you'll be a core contributor to our Android platform, building the full stack of our consumer-facing application, including application development, OS customisation, and even firmware configurations. You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and directly impact the customer experience.

What You'll Do:

• Build and deploy high-performance, bug-free, and user-friendly consumer-facing Android applications.
• Configure Android devices at the OS and firmware level.
• Design and implement the underlying architecture for our Android platform.
• Collaborate closely with our team of world-class engineers and AI specialists.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience building and deploying scalable consumer-facing Android applications with a focus on exceptional user experience and clean architecture (e.g., MVVM).
• Experience building Android applications in an enterprise B2B2C environment (B2C experience is also highly valued).
• Solid understanding of Android platform architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience working with authentication and APIs from Android devices.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with the Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) and custom ROMs.
• Experience modifying and configuring Android Framework layers.
• Knowledge of bootloader tools.
• Database and cloud experience.
