The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will develop and maintain embedded software for robotics and automation systems. This role involves creating high-quality code, troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers
Key Responsibilities:
1. Software Development
- Design and implement embedded software using C++ and C#.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in embedded systems.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to standards.
- Lead technical decisions and development tasks.
2. Project Collaboration
- Estimate project effort and risks.
- Coordinate with architects, electronics, and mechanical teams to ensure consistency.
- Track tasks and report progress.
3. Quality and Documentation
- Maintain regulatory and process documentation.
- Apply best practices for software quality and process improvements.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for development.
4. Mentorship and Leadership
- Mentor and coach engineers to develop technical skills.
- Promote collaboration and professional growth within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
Experience:
- 2+ years for a junior embedded software development position(automation or medical devices preferred).
- 6+ years for senior
