Your challenge
As a Software Engineer C#, your main focus is to guarantee the smooth operation of our business applications as used by a variety of teams. You are involved in the implementation of new features and error correction in existing applications using C# in an Azure Cloud context. After you have gained some more experience, you’ll also participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of new functionalities, and in conceptualizing new applications.
You Are Responsible For
As a .Net Software Engineer, you’ll join the Software Development team, as part of the Product Development organization. Product Development consists of specialized teams that focus on a specific domain such as demand and supply planning, user experience, data science, integration, solvers, and more. These teams drive our product road map, share OMP’s vision and expertise, and create smart, robust, and scalable software solutions that solve our customers’ complex supply chain planning challenges.

Your challenge
As a Software Engineer C#, your main focus is to guarantee the smooth operation of our business applications as used by a variety of teams. You are involved in the implementation of new features and error correction in existing applications using C# in an Azure Cloud context. You Are Responsible For
- Devising the optimal solution for specific applications in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Working with Azure Cloud tools including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Services.
- Providing training and support to colleagues from other departments when they use these applications.
- Representing OMPin meetings and discussions with external partners. These technical discussions are mostly regarding the integration of our business applications and data storage with the third-party application.
- Supporting the use of third-party applications, such as Salesforce and Omnitracker, within the company.
- Developing web tools for reporting.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

- A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant field. Alternatively, the equivalent by experience.
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Profound knowledge of the C#/C++ language and the .Net Core framework.
- Passionate about writing high-quality software.
- The eagerness to learn and stay up to date on the latest technology.
- Good understanding of RESTful architecture and asynchronous programming.
- Relevant work experience, including internships.
- Experience with design patterns, UML, algorithmic thinking, multi-threading, and distributed systems.
- Experience with UX, React.
- Experience with integration patterns on Microsoft Azure (Event Hub, Azure Functions, API Management, Web API Apps, etc.).
- Experience in cloud-native technologies, streaming frameworks, event driven architecture (microservices, message broker, caching, K8s, containers, NoSQL databases, Azure, …).
- Knowledge about distributed system principles, design and architecture
