Description of the Tasks

As a Business Analyst for Reporting and Data Visualization, you will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document reporting/dashboard requirements.
• Analyze business processes and translate needs into reports and visualizations.
• Work closely with data architects to design data structures aligned with business needs.
• Provide guidance on report/dashboard designs and validate their accuracy.
• Define data integration requirements and collaborate with ETL developers.
• Ensure data quality standards, addressing issues with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications, test plans, and perform user acceptance testing.
• Lead demos and workshops on reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Manage change requests and align solutions with business strategies.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in translating business needs into actionable data solutions.
• Experience in preparing test cases and performing user acceptance testing.
• Ability to bridge business needs with data warehouse solutions.
• Expertise in documenting business and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and database management systems.
• Understanding of data quality concepts and dashboard design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to work in multilingual, multicultural environments with a team-oriented mindset.

• Extensive knowledge of eProcurement business concepts and processes at the European Commission (advantageous).
• Expertise in data modeling techniques and analysis tools (e.g., ER models, state diagrams).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in reporting and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense dashboards.
• Strong understanding of complex information systems, data flows, and SQL for data exploration.
