We are looking for an experienced Staff Product Analyst to join our Rides Marketplace product group and lead a team of analysts to innovate and optimise the matching and pricing on our platform, which makes millions of rides happen every day across 50+ countries!

About Us

About The Role

As a catalyst for discovery, you will drive the product strategy and lead a team of analysts to solve business problems across our real-time marketplace by identifying new opportunities, contributing to new features and levelling up existing ones. You will have an opportunity to apply your expertise in experimentation, causal inference and microeconomics to steer the Rides Marketplace group to optimally match demand and supply.

In this role, you will develop and scale systems to improve the entire marketplace experience. These are truly unique problems to crack. Sounds interesting? Join us as a Staff Product Analyst and take a seat in our journey to revolutionise ride-hailing!

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Leading and coaching a team of 4+ analysts to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to build a high-performing product analytics team
  • Continuously developing your understanding of our marketplace and driving the discovery of new opportunities to inform and steer the Rides Marketplace product strategy
  • Designing relevant and actionable metrics and owning A/B testing best practices to make better and faster product decisions
  • Driving and contributing to the conceptualisation and development of analytical solutions such as marketplace simulations, self-service data products or user segmentation
  • Closely collaborating with your partners in Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and other functions to drive forward cross-functional product and analytics initiatives and ensure seamless execution

About you:

  • You hold a university degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management or similar studies
  • You have 4+ years of experience working in Product Analytics and/or Data Science, including 1+ years of managerial experience
  • You rank your SQL skills as “outstanding” & Python/R skills as “profound” and you have experience with BI tools and data visualisation
  • You have strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset and possess outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a clear narrative
  • You have a solid understanding of end-to-end A/B testing and some experience with advanced experimentation such as time-based tests or other causal inference methods
  • You are confident in applying basic notions of microeconomics in practice and have a solid understanding of supervised machine-learning models

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying if you feel you’re the kind of person described above!

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Play a direct role in shaping the future of mobility.
  • Impact millions of customers and partners in 600+ cities across 50 countries.
