Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with 9 to 13 years of experience in software development specifically in Hibernate, SOAP, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, REST Web Services, Core Java, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance domain. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Oversee the implementation of technical solutions using Hibernate, SOAP, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, REST Web Services, Core Java, and PL/SQL.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for Property & Casualty Insurance projects.
• Ensure the timely delivery of software projects by managing project timelines and resources effectively.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve software development processes and enhance team productivity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all software development activities.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical expertise in Hibernate, SOAP, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, REST Web Services, Core Java, and PL/SQL.
• Have extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
