Role Overview: As an IT Programme Manager Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering complex IT programmes from conception to implementation. You'll collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT programmes within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Manage project resources, including staffing, budget allocation, and vendor relationships.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and communication to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team culture focused on achieving project goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Programme Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 10 years' Project Management experience.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with IT infrastructure, or software development, and cloud technologies.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) are desirable.
